Pinocchio

pinochio

An old puppet maker carved a puppet out of pine and oak.

He did so while wishing for a son of his very own.

One faithful night, a blue moon  appeared and a miracle happened.

His dear pine and oaken puppet breathed new life.

Instead of his very own little boy he longed wished for,

he received a breathing, moving pine and oaken puppet.

He figured what’s the difference?

The old puppet maker was happy all the same.
